The Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India in collaboration with the Colombo Plan Secretariat will be organizing an International Workshop on Environment and Climate Change, titled as “Mainstreaming Climate Actions In Developmental Policies” in New Delhi, India from 9-13 April, 2017. The Workshop aims to contribute to the capacity building of Member States and strengthen  networking and collaboration among them. The event is coordinated by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), New Delhi.

This workshop is part of the pledge by the Government of India in the 45th Consultative Committee Meeting  held in Fiji, in 2016 and is fully sponsored by  India including airfare, board, lodging and local transportation under their ITEC program.  The invitations are extended by the host country through Diplomatic channels.

In this context, kindly nominate two senior level officials/ experts from the area of environment and climate change, preferably from the Ministry of Environment, before 31st March, 2018. The nominees need to  register online with the Government of India’s ITEC  link by selecting India mission:
